Meet Jo Davey

Senior Designer and Architectual Draftsman

Jo Davey brings over two decades of experience in building design and drafting to MI Global Construction. Her career spans residential, commercial, and industrial projects — from traditional homes to concrete tilt-up workshops and everything in between. Jo is a member of both Design Matters and the Home Energy Raters Association (HERA), and is committed to upholding strict codes of conduct and continually  her professional development.

Jo Davey is a qualified NatHERS Energy Efficiency Assessor with over 18 years of experience designing homes that reflect strong passive design principles. She brings a sharp focus on sustainability and a deep understanding of Australia’s evolving building standards. Her designs are known for being stylish, practical, and highly buildable, the kind that tradespeople love to work from and homeowners love to live in.

She’s worked for both boutique builders and structural engineers, and has earned a reputation as a go-to professional for both design and drafting services.
Beyond the drafting table, Jo is adventurous, ocean-loving, and community-minded having recently sailed from Perth to Broome, and is always keen to give back through local groups and clubs. At MI Global, she’s found a home that values genuine relationships, down-to-earth collaboration, and good design that makes sense.
