Every building we sell is designed and drawn under our own roof
At MI Global Construction, drafting isn't outsourced. Our in-house drafting and design team works alongside our estimators and project managers, so your drawings, your energy assessment and your price are developed together rather than handed between different companies. Wherever you are in Western Australia, the team works with you remotely and on site as the job requires.

- Concept sketches through to detailed working drawings for builders, engineers and certifiers
- Building permit and planning documentation, including R-Code and ancillary dwelling compliance
- Energy efficiency (NatHERS) assessments and BAL-rated detailing arranged as part of the package
- Structural engineering coordination for wind region and site class
- Documentation for owner builders to submit to council
Because design, estimating and construction sit under one roof, you get clear communication and one set of drawings that everyone is building from.
Please note: our drafting service is provided only for buildings purchased through MI Global Construction, Midwest Modular or Sheds n Homes. We don't take on drafting-only or custom design work outside our own sales.

Working closely with our estimating team, Can makes sure every set of drawings is buildable in the factory, transportable to site and compliant with WA planning and building requirements before it ever reaches a certifier.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pay for drafting separately?
No. Drafting is part of your project with us, not a separate service – the drawings are prepared for the building you purchase.
Can you change one of your designs to suit me?
Yes. Our modular designs can be adapted to your block and needs, and we can work from your own sketch to arrive at a modular or transportable layout we can build.
Do you prepare the council and building permit documents?
Yes. We prepare the documentation needed for planning and building permits – including for owner builders lodging with council themselves.
What about bushfire (BAL) and energy ratings?
BAL-rated detailing and NatHERS energy assessments are arranged as part of the drawing package, so your design is compliant before it reaches a certifier.
Will you draft plans for a building I'm buying elsewhere?
No. Our drafting team works only on buildings sold by MI Global Construction, Midwest Modular and Sheds n Homes.
